Rho2 Arietis is a M-type red giant with an apparent magnitude which varies between 5.62 and 6.01.[2] It is approximately 400 light years from Earth.[1] It is classified as a semiregular variable star and its brightness varies with a period of 30 days. It is also known by its variable star designation, RZ Arietis.[2]
